Antena 3's musical competition show 'Tu cara me suena' has announced that María José Campanario will perform alongside her partner, Jesulín de Ubrique, in the next episode. According to reports published by several outlets in the Prensa Ibérica group on 27 June 2026, the development came when the show's randomiser landed on the 'Bring a friend' slot, which fell to the bullfighter.

According to those reports, Jesulín de Ubrique announced he would bring Campanario onto the show, and that the two would step into the "clonator" to impersonate one of Spanish pop music's best-known duos: Amistades Peligrosas.

Sources differ slightly on the details. Reports from eldia.es, laprovincia.es and elcorreogallego.es state that the slot revealed by the randomiser was 'Bring a friend'. OKDiario, however, reports that the slot Jesulín received was 'Bring your partner' and reconstructs the on-set moment: the bullfighter had reportedly asked the randomiser for the chance to impersonate Eros Ramazzotti, but instead got the option to bring his partner. According to that same account, host Manel Fuentes asked whether he would invite her, to which Jesulín replied: "Go on then, let's do it."

The Wikipedia entry for the thirteenth season confirms that four new slots were added in this edition, among them 'Bring your partner', which allows a contestant to perform with their partner.

OKDiario places Campanario's appearance in episode 12, which coincides with the first semi-final. According to the schedule recorded on Wikipedia, Gala 12 (first semi-final) is dated 3 July 2026.
