At 16:27, CECOES 112 received a call reporting that a car had left the road and collided with the central reservation. Emergency resources were immediately deployed.
Firefighters made the vehicle safe and freed the driver, who had been trapped inside the passenger compartment following the impact. Personnel from the Servicio de Urgencias Canario (SUC) then assessed and treated the injured man.
According to the SUC's initial assessment, the victim presented with multiple serious traumatic injuries. Once stabilised, he was evacuated by advanced life support ambulance to Hospital Universitario Insular de Gran Canaria, where he was admitted in a critical condition.

Among the services activated by CECOES 112 were an advanced life support ambulance and a basic life support ambulance from the SUC, crews from the Consorcio de Emergencias de Gran Canaria, the Guardia Civil, and the road maintenance service.
The Guardia Civil managed traffic on the road and handled the official accident report, while the road maintenance service carried out cleaning and clearance work after the vehicle was removed.
